It amuses me when people say they want a stress free job, like farming. As
compensation for brutally hard work a farmer gets to work with potentially
lethal machinery, poisonous chemicals and dangerous animals. When weather is
bad he worries that his crops will fail, when weather is good he worries
that there will be an over production and prices will collapse. It was even
worse a few centuries ago when you also worried about stuff like the black
death and mogul horsemen skinning you alive; but back then people didn't
talk much about stress, they were too busy trying to stay alive.

I worry about the stock market but it's not quite the same thing.
