Even being a know-it-all European I never questioned that the individual
human has a right to defend her/himself with appropriate force. I think the
operational keyword here is "appropriate": I am just not going to shoot
those who do not respect lines even if that pisses me off. Also I think that
solutions based on force are frequently not sucecssful in the long run, the
problem will keep coming back as a cancer, and usually worse than before.
Sounds familiar? I think solutions based on negotiation are more stable.
