If I come to consider someone as a threat to my survival, or that of my
family, yes I would be perfectly willing to kill. I do not think force is
never acceptable. Perhaps I would also be willing to kill if I see someone
as a threat to a future that I wish to promote. But in this case, I think it
would be a very poor service to the cause, that would become associated
with, yes, terrorism, in the public mind. I believe there are better ways.
I have red carefully the Unabomber Manifesto. Ted Kacinsky writes, and very
well, as someone deeply concerned with the future of the humankind. But his
acts have been a very poor service to his Luddite cause, and a very good one
to ours.
