Where does this information come from? The Arab states broke
the original partition, and started the wars of 56 and 73. Israel
started 67, but the Arab states were pretty obviously getting ready
to attack that time too. The invasion of Lebanon is the only time
you can really lay it at Israel's feet.
Anyway, who's going to enforce it? Most of the militant terrorist
Palestinians are committed to the obliteration of Israel. They're
going to bomb shopping malls in any nation that acts to maintain
a partition. There's also the nontrivial issue of snitching 1/3 of
a nuclear-armed country's territory, leaving it with hopeless
indefensible borders.
