I sent a post Sunday night, but have since noticed that it hadn't arrived on the list for some reason, so I am making another run at it.
Just wanted to mention and express appreciation for the great conference in San Jose. As my first experience I was pleasantly surprised
and wish to thank Robert Bradbury, Anders Sanburg, Michael Lorrey, Spike Jones, Tom Voss, Amara Graps (those who did not catch
last names, but you know who you are) Chris from Washington DC, Brenda (Seattle), Richard (Sunnyvale), etc, etc for the friendly and
enlightening company and conversation.
Further, after being on the list for about a year I realized how important it was to actually meet people. After spending some time with them and
better understanding their views it prompts me to withdraw a post I made last Friday in response to one of Waldemar's posts on whether
transhumanists should become politically involved (if you missed it, nothing to worry about). I believe Pro-Act is important, it is being approached
in the right way and I am thinking in how I can become involved and think others should do the same.
