E5 news

Good news for those coming to E5. I went downtown again today
to scope out eateries near the Towers. I found that last time I had
gone
one street not far enough, for most of what I was finding then was on
the
upscale side. I get squicked whenever I eat in a place that has more
than one fork, because they then expect you to know what each is
supposed to be used for. So ask you: is there anyone here who sets
their table at home with more than one fork? Secondly, I dislike going
very deep into the double digits on meals. I don't eat much so it seems

such a waste. {8^D

Nowthen, if there *are* those who appreciate the finer things of life,
you will not be disappointed. In Downtown San Jose, their delectable
cuisine would tempt the palates of connoisseurs from both hemispheres,
and to those with more delicate sensibilities, they provide a still more

elegant charm.

But that isn't me. I found today that if one goes on over to 3rd and
4th
streets, next to the University, only about 4 blocks east of the Towers,

theres a Pizza-a-GoGo, a Pizzeria Italiano, a takeout sushi place {where

I actually ate today and found most acceptable}, another Subway and
a big clean-looking McDonalds. It stands to reason, the U district
would
have a lot of eateries that are more cost conscious and can handle
biggie
crowds, larger amoebae. Middle of June the students will be gone for
the summer, so a lotta those places should be way able to accommodate
us. So, good for us. I finish with this quote from Shakespeare, which
is from his collection of lesser known sonnets:

For the cloth napkin set,
Two forks you shall get,
Tho I dont grok why ya should need 'em,
But some Extro guys
Like burgers and fries,
So its always easy to feed 'em.

We shall have fun in three weeks, eh? spike
