I can back this up. I have several friends who haven't paid income tax in
years.
But what I think Billy Brown and others will find interesting, is that
some of them have gotten the IRS to *refund* all Federal taxes paid prior
to when they stopped paying taxes. Depending on how long they paid taxes,
some of them have gotten enormous checks from the IRS for taxes paid years
ago. It seems that as long as you file the right paperwork and jump
through the right hoops, they pretty much leave you alone too.
