It seems to me that there's a huge need for a paper currency that is counte=
rfeit-resistant=2C inexpensive to print=2C internationally recognized (bord=
er-less)=2C fits in a wallet=2C and machine readable.
I pitched this idea at the Cincinnati Bitcoin meetup last week=2C and I did=
n't get thrown out=2C so I took the time to document a proposed standard to=
accomplish this. I've put my ideas into BIP format=2C so that you can see=
what I have in mind=2C although I picked some=20
BIP numbers myself that seem to be available. Call them "proposed proposal=
s"=2C or "provisional BIPs". I've numbered them provisionally BIP-80 to BI=
P-84.
If you guys think that this idea has some merit=2C let's discuss.

Submitted with humility and some fear of getting laughed out of here...
