Again, you cut out the part where I asked if there is some Y such that you
think that associating Consciousness with death will get you Y and you
like Y. I'm totally in agreement with everything you've said in this
paragraph.
I'm not asking an unqualified "Why?" I'm asking: are there any further
motivational reasons explaining why you want to, or are the reasons you
want to all non-motivational in nature?
It should also be noted that I have rejected Consciousness for
motivational reasons. Perhaps you don't share my motivations, but I think
you might, and if so, rejecting Consciousness would be a very good idea
indeed.
