Life-long friend and fellow sci-fi guru; Fredrick Pohl, said that "Issac was
despessed during the last year of his life from taking industrial strength
lasix and waiting to die." I suspect he would not look happilly upon
Extropianism or Transhumanism. You guys would be arguing with him,
rationalist, though he may have been.
