Hmmmmm well, first let's clarify that drug induced states are very diferent and
varied, for example when you are drunk you are obviously in a drug induced
state, but you don't hallucinate.

And also psychotic states bear little or no resemblance to other drug induced
states, except for delirants like datura, that have a lot more resemblance with
a psychotic state, and even though the state is not very similar.

And as for cannabis, as far as I know you don't hallucinate with it, you might
get some interesting close eyed visuals if you are really intoxicated, or you
might see the things more intense, but you don't see things that aren't there or
the like, so this is indeed a very strange effect.
