Because it is acetylized, don't forget to take twice the amount of vitamin
C that you take NAC, otherwise it lodges in your liver.
NAC is a part of many life-extension regimens. Also helpful in the long
dry winter months, because it keeps mucus membranes moist and helps prevent
airborn infections.
