Calgary - Human testing of a potential cure for cancer has approved by Health
Canada and is scheduled to begin in the spring. A spokeswomen for Synsorb
Biotech Inc. said a group of 30 cancer patients will take part in phase one
clinical testing to see how they will react to injections of a benign virus -
proven to succssfully kill cancer cells in mice. Calgary-based Dr. Patrick Lee
led the team of scientists who made the discovery.
