antisocial personality disorder [was Re:Sociopaths]

Because of the nature of antisocial personality disorder wouldn't the
classification just be an identification of a symptom for some bigger
problem? Like damage to the prefrontal cortex for someone who doesn't stop
and think? Or maybe the cerebellum for someone who is constantly thrashing
about?
