Feynam didn't know enough about art history. Science and technology were
celebrated by the Italian Futurist painters early in this century. Many of
Salvador Dali's later paintings used images of hybercubes, atoms, and DNA
(Dali actually met with Watson and Crick for lunch on one occasion - they
reportedly had to leave early to go catch a flight when Dali's companion
began talking about drinking his urine). An of course there's science
fiction, in literature and film.
