This years' Cato Institute/Forbes ASAP Technology & Society Conference will
explore education for high-tech, online arbitratrion, spread spectrum,
genetically altered plants, domain name competition, and nanotech.
The event will be held from November 4-5 in Milpitas, California (close to
San Jose). Speakers will include Bill Schrader of PSINet, Tom Siebel of
Siebel Systems, education reformer Tim Draper, and Stan Williams, one of the
scientists working on the molecular computer switch.
