Yes, people, it is possible to be religious and reasonable. And let's
all REMEMBER this the next time somebody starts whaling on religion!
Just because the anti-science lunatics get all the publicity doesn't
mean they're all anti-science lunatics! (I mean, weren't we just
worrying about that happening to transhumanism?)
Why pick fights? Speaking as a Singularitarian, I bet a surprising
percentage of believers - not leaders, maybe, but certainly ordinary
people - would be perfectly willing to suspend religious fights for the
next thirty years on the theory that we'll get the answers soon enough...
