Of course not. I am saying that we pay more attention to the things that can
change, and to the choices we can make, than to the 'background'. You can
decide to say something nice, or say something mean. You can decide to stay in
school or take a job. And you can decide to date the girl with the cute ass or
the one who smarter. These are choices that will affect our lives and shape who
we are. We don't really concern ourselves with things like breathing, since
they are part of the background.
