No, a person who shouldn't have a gun gets quickly dead. A free man is not
free
unless armed.
Mike Lorrey
Wrong as well. A person without a gun is free in a society where no one
else has guns, nor the will to do harm to others. We're looking for a
Utopian Ideal here, right? If a man has a gun and intends to be free, he
will only be free by himself, as he has singular power. In order for
coexistence - and ultimately Utopia - to be reached, we must be free
together. Freedom is the ability to walk down the street and, not only be
able to not worry about getting shot, but not worry about having to shoot
someone else.
Pope Arhat Al-Hazred Mateed XXIII
