Interesting People is a list run by David Farber at the U of
Penn... as the name implies, membership is supposedly restricted
to "interesting people" as judged by Farber, who then send him
interesting tidbits regarding just about anything (but mostly
related to the net) that he sifts through and posts to the list.
Apparently someone on the list sent him your post, which he
distributed to all those "digerati". His home page is here:
