The inbreeding of livestock such as cattle over the past hundreds of
years has led to a very limited genepool, not far from cloning anyways.
The same holds for turkeys, chickens, and pigs, as well as laboratory
animals such as mice and rats, which are bred specifically to be
identical as possible.
