In defense of the "cowards," I might offer up a different rationale for why
a person does not want a gun.
A single person is not likely to be completely rational or objective when
judging others. It takes an awfully open-minded person to realize that their
own interpretation on the facts might not be the only one... this should not
necessarily be interpreted as cowardice, although I do agree that our
current justice system isn't exactly living up to its objective ideals.
