I'm not sure...but I think "Blazing Saddles" by Mel Brooks came as close as
any.
You see...the problem is that the HollyWood crowd actually beleives (I think)
all that socialist stuff. So naturally they are not going to make a movie
running it down. Even (so I hear) the latest "Lethal Weapon"...had an
undercurrent (subliminal) "anti-gun" agenda.
But then...I quit watching movies (and TV) years and years ago.
