Hate to break this to you spike..but they are not alone. And it's going to
become more common in the future. Yes...taxes have definitely paid for the
roads..but when has a politician ever forsaken the opportunity to gouge...and
gouge again?
Then...like Colorado..the highway fund will be raided to fund social
engineering projects and the roads will deteriorate...and guess what...new
taxes are required to fix the shoddy roads.
