You have yet to prove that charity by taxes works better. The current evidence
comparing levels of private giving in various nations which range between 1(i.5)
and 1(ii) indicates that private giving goes up as economies shift closer to 1(i)
AND that private charitable groups utilize donated resources more efficiently than
their governmental counterparts. Given these two points, the current evidence that
I am aware of says you are wrong.
