The problem with government goes beyond taxes, but it does start there.
Depending on how you define /government/, some of them engage in
indoctrination and mind control. For example, just discussing the idea of
barter as a way to avoid taxation can get you in trouble with the US IRS.
Changing the implanted meme that "death and taxes remain inevitable" worries
governments... and that explains why government worries most about the
Internet.
