I know the Extropians list is the last place for
a debate on Catholic trivia, so let me just point to
http://www.alltheearth.com/virginity/index.htm as my source for the
information on the Immaculate Conception of Mary. I was misled into
thinking that this document represented the official Church position,
but apparently it is a divergent interpretation.
