The common elements among those four categories are N and T

Characteristics Associated with the Four Temperaments (Kiersey, 1985)

 Intuitive-Thinker Type (NT)

  * analytic
  * efficient
  * logical
  * curious
  * inventive

Relating this to Tim Bates reference to the 5 Factor theory (an
interesting study that I need to think about), I have conducted
research that indicates that Thinking and iNtuitive types are
most strongly correlated to the "Open to Experience" factor
of personality and least correlated with "Extroversion" (nothing
to do with extropy) and "Agreeableness". When Dr. (?) Bates
completes his study, we can make some reasonable and testable
hypotheses about political leanings and the MBTI.
