how can you say such a thing about the man who led a radical christian coup
of the American political system? how can you say he possessed an
"enthusiasm for ideas" when he led a monolith in congress which continually
attempted to criminalize all forms of abortion, cut American funding of the
UN, curtail further the civil liberties of homosexuals, enact prayer in
school, subvert the American social security and health care systems, and
impeach Bill Clinton for receiving a blow job and possibly lying about it
in court? the aforementioned does not seem characteristic of a man who
holds an "enthusiam for ideas" or strong libertarian convictions. i see
that your address ends with .au so i'll assume that you have not had the
same exposure to this man as I have...
