The statement above demonstates a lack of understanding of the concept
of meme. Meme is to social organism or society as gene is to a regular
biological organism. Any idea or aspect of culture that has social
consequences or "organizing power" is a meme.
The power organism in which we live has uses for both socialist and
libertarian memes, but needs them balanced against each other to
maintain the power structure the ruling class needs. The socialist
meme prevents the libertarian meme from destroying institutions the
elite needs: Central Banking, cartelizing "regulations", big government,
etc.
It also needs the libertarian meme to balance these socialist tendencies
which would otherwise expropriate the the elite.
If the libertarian meme was to win out, overwhelming socialist and statist
memes, a new libertarian society would result, one far too competitive to
allow
for a permanent ruling class such as we have today.
