The article brings to light the relevance of what one pays attention to and
how, whether consciously or subliminally, it can determine not only our
perceptions but also our directions in life. This type psychological
screening is helpful in understanding oneself and one's values.
Rand's _Romantic Manifesto_ missed a great portion of the arts and its
limited views on what Rand found to be worthy of being called art and the
arts. In that she favored the Romantic period and could not grasp modern
arts, I found her positioning quite weak and bland.
