This same inane discussion about HTML mail has taken place
on every one of the 30 or so mailing lists I'm on, and it
has failed to enlighten anyone, just as it is failing to do
anything useful here.
On the good lists, an active listowner simply makes a post
that says "here's the standard for this list; end of
discussion." If ExI would get around to privatizing this
list as they've claimed they would for months now, they
could have done that easily as well with more authority.
