So let's assume that someone is uploaded while being in a state of
unconsciousness (to prevent any new experiences to both the original and
the copy), and after that the original is immediately destroyed. Now the
copy is in exactly the same state as the original. But *IS IT* the
original? What if the original is not destroyed? Of course it remains to
be defined exactly what the above "state" reallly means. I think this
leads to nothing as previous discussions have shown.
