Polluting technology is not strongly entropic by definition. You will
have to weigh the pros and the contras. Of course, if there are
alternatives which offer the same capabilities but are less polluting,
than you should choose the least polluting one.

(For example, cars are polluting the environment but I wouldn't like
to do without the freedom my car is delivering ! :->
And IMO there is no good alternative for it (yet). )
