These stocks are both listed on the NASDAQ (and therefore subject to the
disagreeably high commissions associated with that exchange).

I am probably not the best person to ask about specific mutual funds right
now. However, I would recommend a "good" balance of Emerging Growth funds,
Global funds, and Tech funds if you want strong growth. I would recommend
avoiding Blue Chip funds and most large Growth funds (both types have been
severely overfunded). Index funds will provide a decent return over the
long-term but may be lackluster in the short-term.
