(Sorry, I've just alway wanted to say something like that over a tannoy
system and this is the next best thing.)
Just to say that I'm unsubscribing for a few days to keep the volume of
mail arriving in my in-box down until I have a local ISP set up in America.
So, I'm not being impolite if I don't reply swiftly to posts in response to
comments of mine on the list.
I will have more-or-less unbroken access to my email account, because my
current ISP has a global roaming facility (cool, huh), so if you want to
contact me personally I will get the message.
