So lying in bed all day wondering whether to kill myself doesn't count as
'depression'? Geez, how much harder am I supposed to try?

My experience is the same as Burroughs'; anything that can be done with
drugs (at least the kind which affect the brain) can be done in other
ways. This is why I'm extremely wary of using any of those drugs; I'd
rather fix the bad programming than rely on an external agent.
