Differ in some details... well, yes.
Plate tectonics usually operate at between 1.5 and 7 centimetres a year.
Ten times that would certainly seem abrupt on a geological scale, but is
nightmarishly slow by ours.
I don't think we need worry about our real estate investments, even if
danny's `polar shift' had anything to do with this new announcement (which
it doesn't).
