CSICOP is an organization, not a scientist. One of its most
promenent members was Carl Sagan. Many of the CSICOP Fellows
are science fiction authors. The scientific articles in
"Skeptical Enquirer" tend to be studies of the nature of
human belief, which IMO is very relevant to extropy. Their
other main thrust is debunking junk science. IMO pruning
out the junk is important, since it lets us focus on things
that are likely to actually advance humanity.
