Well, I rarely criticize people for being narcissistic. (If
someone is being narcissistic *and* getting on my nerves, I try
to find something other than narcissism to criticize them for.)
And I have always loved Dali's painting "The Metamorphosis of
Narcissus", which hangs in the Tate in London for those of you
lucky enough to be on that side of the Atlantic.
Perhaps there is nothing wrong with being "conscious-centric".
