I foresee that the future of computing will encompass
Computer-Brain Integration, Direct Brain Stimulation, and
Full Conscious Control. At this site, Future Fantastic/Brain
Storm, that topic is discussed in a simple, straightforward
manner.

Since I criticize Extropians, Libertarians, Transhumans,
Objectivists, Anarcho-Capitalists, Cypherpunks, and
Crypto-Anarchists, I figure I ought to provide some links to their
material. Let me qualify this by saying that I actually agree with
a lot of what they propose. The extropian principles of Boundless
Expansion, Self Transformation, Dynamic Optimism, Intelligent
Technology, and Spontaneous Order (BEST DO IT SO) are right up my
alley. The only problem is that Extropians and Transhumanists
maintain that free-market laissez-faire capitalism is a form of
spontaneous order (while I maintain that it isn't), and that they
go on to say that capitalism is the only form of spontaneous order
that they acknowledge. So, check out the Extropy Institute, and the
Anders Transhumanist Resources. Those two pages link and explore
in-depth, the issues of Libertarianism, Objectivism, Cryptography,
etc. I'll let them provide the links to those issues, rather than
defile my page with such obsolete, archaic ideas as "privacy",
"secrecy", and "anonymity". Extropians and their pals are masters
of the art of flaming, so don't dare sending them any critical
email messages. Common dismissives range from "Please don't ever
communicate with me again", to "If you had approached me in a
spirit of inquiry, I might have taken the time to prepare a well
thought-out response." (Max More.) More proof of the burdens of a
closed, and narrow mind.
