Yes, but a) nation-states can go to war much more easily than anarchies,
because they can readily round up their population and send them off to
fight and b) individual anarchists or small groups have access to any
weapons they desire, so wars between anarchists are less likely, or are
likely to be fatal to both sides.

No government ever does anything for free. They just steal the money from
us to pay for it.

You might want to add Vernor Vinge's short story 'The Ungoverned' to the
reading list, as it's a fairly good rendering of a war between a
Friedman-style anarchy and a nation state.
