break into alcor, steal Max's head and reanimate him. This demonstrates
that Max is a normal human being (more or less) and breaks the power of
the priest. In the ensuing court battles Max retains only a small portoin
of the religion's holdings. He does however achieve brief fame as a pop
icon and retain a small cult following. In a little while Max gets bored
and decides to leave earth for a large party at a distant location.
(There a happy ending for Max without saddling him with all that easy
money and power).
