Know of any good books?

        Amazon.com is having a big sale so now is a good time for me to look for
books. Specifically, I'm looking for books that would help teach critical
thinking. Someone suggested economics--->Bayesian statistics--->game
theory. I have a good background in economics (is Hidden Order any good?
I've read Hazlit's Economics in One Lesson) but my understanding of
statistics and game theory is shallow at best.
        Books that would provide a good background in cosmology and relativity are
of interest as well.
