An interesting point of view. If one were to take the supposed view of
aliens as they see Federation humans, then exaggerrate and amplify the
worst culltural characteristics, you would get the Borg. In a similar
fashion, as I pointed out several years ago, the Ferrenghi are similarly
distorted visions of Americans to many foreigners. If you look up the
word Ferreghi in, I beleive an Arab dictionary, one will find a term
that loosly means a dirty money grubbing infidel westerner.
