Just finished reading a little book on Quantum Mechanics. It focuses
on the interpretational issues and points out that the Copenhagen
Interpretation is actually the most radical. Most of the other views
are essentially a continuation of the usual mysticism about
consciousness
and observation. It has some cogent descriptions of how to look at
the measurement process as a quantum system and how the decoherence
idea works. All done with only one simple equation. All of those on
this list who like to discuss QM and consciousness should read this...
