Because you don't just want one level of things. Some of the things you
want are useful in creating a whole bunch of other things you want, and
some of the things you want always come with things you don't want, to name
two possible extremes. I make good things happen by keeping track of the
interrelationships between my values...I'll bet you do too. I think this
mutilevel aspect is why I used the word 'editing' in my post.
