The caloric need is not the main problem, you could easily satisfy
your daily requirement by drinking a cup of olive oil. But the body is
very complex, and even if you took every vitamin pill you can find,
you'd still not get everything you need. And even if you would,
the body would have problem absorbing the nutrients if not
ingested in the usual food-like form.
Chris, instead of pills you might check out the Walford Interactive Diet
Planner, if you want to compute the minimal effort optimal meal.
I recall this has been discussed at crsociety, where someone
suggested a nutritional complete meal with only four ingredients.
