This approach won't work for the same reason Maxwell's Demon doesn't
work. There is no way to obtain the information required for the
anti-phonon without generating mucho entropy. However there are *many*
approaches which DO work, look at the various methodologies used in the
Bose-Einstein condensate experiments to get to nanokelvin temperatures.
BTW, if you read Nanosystems it becomes clear that the rigidity of
diamondoid structures preclude the need to refrigerate for Dreslerian
Nanotech assembly work.
