Actually, representative government, parliaments, and voting in general is simply the most effective method yet devised for the ruling class to gain the consent of the governed. This was very clear when Kings first instituted parliaments, dumas, assemblies, etc., but no less true today. Democracy of all sorts are frauds and are meant to be! Democracy prevents evolution toward anarcho-capitalism.
